myXjeans.com charges $5.00 to list a pair of jean on the site. There are NO other charges that the seller pays to list a pair of jeans. If you list a pair of jeans for $100.00, you will receive $100.00 in your PayPal account.

myXjeans.com was built on the idea that listing and selling a pair of jeans should not take all of the revenue of the sale.

myXjeans.com has two types of return policies to choose from when setting up your account.

No Returns - The seller does not accept any returns on items purchased. All sales are final.

7 Day Return Policy - The buyer has 7 days upon delivery of jeans to return them for a full refund of the purchase prices less the transaction fees. The buyer pays for the return postage.

Example: Buyer chooses to purchase a $100.00 pair of jeans. The transaction completes with jean purchase price of $100.00 and $4.86 in handling fees. The buyer is charged $104.86. The jeans end up not fitting properly and the seller has a 7 Day Return Policy. The buyer can expect a $100.00 refund for the jeans once the jeans are received by the seller.

Accurate jean measurements are the very most important piece of your listing. Your listing can have the best pictures and descriptions but if the measurements are incorrect, you can almost be guaranteed your jeans will be returned.

Check the tag located inside the jeans usually near the waistband or the fly. Many times, size tags are in multiple locations inside the jeans. You can turn the jeans fully inside out and usually find the size tag. If the jeans do not have a tag, measure the waist size by measuring the waistband from the inside. Also measure the inseam using instructions from the "How do I measure the inseam?" FAQ item.

Below is a list of cuts together with their descriptions.

Straight Leg: jeans with a straight, narrow leg that does not flare at the ankle.

Flared Leg: jeans narrow at the knee with an extra-wide flare from calf to ankle.

Boot Cut: jeans are cut to skim over the thigh and flare slightly at the lower leg.

Skinny: jeans narrow towards the ankle.

Capri: Jeans that end anywhere between the knee and mid-calf.

Cropped: Jeans that end at any length from the mid-calf to the ankle.

Relaxed: Full from the hips to the ankle.

Loose: Generously cut in the waist, seat and legs for maximum comfort

High Waist - Above your natural waist

Natural Waist -The rise on a natural waist rise positions the waistband, as the name implies, right at your natural waist-which is at your navel or just above. A natural waist rise will measure between 11 and 12 inches from the crotch seam to the top of the band.

Medium / Mid Rise - The waistband of a pair of jeans with a medium rise will sit below your natural waist or just below your navel. A medium rise will measure between 10 and 11 inches from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband.

Low Rise - The waistband of a pair of jeans with a low rise will sit low on your waist, generally an inch or more below your navel. A low rise will measure between 8.5 and 10 inches from the crotch seam to the top.

If you're not sure what rise style will fit you best, simply measure the rise of your favorite jeans.

Label your jeans that are listed online, if they sell in your shop first, simply unpublish that listing.

Use well lit photos with an uncluttered background from different angles to get the most out of your photo. You can photograph the jean laying flat or hanging on a hanger. Be sure to take specific picture of any damage. The best photographs to include would be of the inside tag, the hem, embellishments, the back pocket, and the jeans as a whole front and back. You can upload up to 5 photographs.

Log into your mxXjeans.com account, navigate to the Sell section, then click on "my listings". You can see your draft, published, pending, shipped and to be shipped listings. By clicking on any of the listing types, you can edit, publish or update the shipping information of your listing.

Yes, the seller pays to ship the jeans. Shipping rates for a pair of jeans typically are between $5.00 and $10.00. Build the shipping costs into your sales price.

myXjeans.com encourages sellers to ship the jeans within 3 business days of receiving payment from PayPal. However, jeans must be shipped within 10 business days of payment receipt to keep your account in good standing.

Labels that are blurred or torn. Product names that are misspelled or altered. Unannounced changes in product content, color, smell or packaging. Missing codes, 800 consumer numbers or trademarks. If it seems too good to be true it probably is.

If you don't receive an item you paid for, or you receive an item that's not as described in the listing, you should contact the seller to try to sort out the problem you're having with this item. myXjeans.com encourages sellers to ship the jeans within 3 business days of receiving payment from PayPal. However, jeans must be shipped within 10 business days of payment receipt to keep your account in good standing.

The buyer pays a slight percentage of the sale to cover the cost of doing business at the myXjeans site. This is 2.9% of the transaction and a $1.96 transaction fee, regardless of how many pairs are purchased at one time. So when purchasing a $100.00 pair of jeans, the buyer would be charged $104.86.

myXjeans.com uses PayPal Pro Payment Services. When listing a pair of jeans, sellers have the option of using a major credit card or PayPal to pay the fees required for listing. When jeans are purchased, the purchase price amount is deposited into the sellers PayPal account and the handling fees are paid to PayPal for handling the transaction.

The more positive feedback a seller has, the more successful transactions they've processed. Positive feedback is obtained by listing jeans in an accurate manner and processing the transaction in a timely manner.
